Welcoming 2026 With Intention
As we step into a new year, I hope you had a chance to rest, reconnect, and find moments of joy over the holidays. I certainly did. The photo above is a small snapshot from my Christmas break — a reminder of how important it is to pause, breathe, and make space for the people and places that refill us.
Coming into 2026, I’ve been thinking a lot about what our community needs most. Over the past year, so many of you have shared your stories with me — the transitions you’re navigating, the bold steps you’re taking, and the quiet resilience you’re building day by day. Those conversations have shaped the direction of Career Sistas more than anything else.
One of the highlights after my break was stepping back into the virtual studio to record Season 2 of Stories by Career Sistas. I am having the privilege of meeting an incredible new group of women — each with a story that moved me, challenged me, and reminded me why this platform exists. I can’t wait for you to get to know them. This year, we are introducing guests from more fields, more countries and more, but the themes remain universal.
Our community is beautifully diverse in its career journeys. Some of you are navigating pivots. Some are just getting started and building your foundations. And many of you are focused on accelerating — stepping into leadership, expanding your influence, and moving boldly into your next chapter.
When we asked on social media last year which area you were most interested in, “accelerators” came out on top by a significant margin. You told us you’re ready to step up, stretch, and grow — and we’ve been listening.
That’s why we’re piloting our Mentoring Circles this year, starting with those of you looking to accelerate. These circles are designed to bring the power of mentorship and the richness of community networking together. My hope is that they become a space where you can learn, connect, and build the confidence and clarity to move forward with purpose.
This year, we’re also shifting our newsletter to focus more intentionally on you: your growth, your ambitions, and the tools that can help you navigate your career with confidence.
Career Sistas has always been about representation, real stories, and practical support. In 2026, we’re doubling down on that mission. Expect more insights, more community‑driven content, and more resources designed to meet you exactly where you are — whether you’re stepping into leadership, pivoting into something new, or simply trying to stay grounded in a demanding season.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Your presence, your voice, and your courage continue to inspire me. I’m excited for what we’ll build together this year.
