Background and Mission<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n

Career Sistas, established in 2025, is built on the principle of uniting women in a fun and interactive environment to support each other’s career journeys. The platform focuses on sharing knowledge and resources from both within the community and external sources, fostering a supportive network.<\/strong>\u202fIt is particularly dedicated to providing assistance during pivotal moments of career changes and transitions, creating a strong, collaborative community.<\/p>\r\n

Career Sistas was founded by Beverly Vanterpool after a successful 20+ year career in the corporate world, during which she also established a community within her industry. Beverly passionately believed that the concept of women supporting each other extended beyond industry boundaries. She recognized that common themes such as career progression, salary negotiation, finding role models, mentors, and sponsors were universal across all industries.<\/strong>\u202fFurthermore, she saw the potential in leveraging new technologies and communication channels to create an innovative, global career community for women.<\/p>\r\n

Who is it for?<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n

Thus,\u202fCareer Sistas is designed for career-focused women from all corners of the globe<\/strong>. Whether you’re just starting out, looking for a promotion, considering a career pivot, or seeking to give back and learn in your later career stages, this platform welcomes you. Our goal is to create a space where we can share and learn together. We invite all women with positive intent to join our community.<\/p>\r\n

How to Support us?<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n

Even if you don’t identify as a woman you will find that our messages resonate for many, especially those that feel like “the systems were not built for them” such as immigrants and people of colour.\u00a0 \u00a0Finally, even if that is not you, you can always be an ally by utilising and sharing any of our public content thus amplifying our message.\u00a0 Some easy ways to do that include subscribing to our podcast, following us on social media and sharing our posts and content with a friend.<\/p>\r\n
