Originally from the British Virgin Islands and born in Antigua, Beverly\u2019s journey has taken her across the Caribbean, United States, and United Kingdom\u2014shaping a unique perspective deeply rooted in resilience, adaptability, and purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Education and Corporate Experience<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Beverly holds an honours bachelor&#8217;s degree with a double major in Economics\/Finance, and Management from Barry University in Florida, an accountancy qualification (ACCA) from the UK, and an MBA from the University of Cambridge. Her career spans some of the world\u2019s most renowned organisations, including Ernst &amp; Young, Deloitte, Accenture, Hewlett Packard, American Express, Discover Financial Services, and Visa. At each stage, Beverly broke new ground, transitioning from accountancy into consultancy then leadership, and earning her reputation as a changemaker dedicated to driving meaningful results\u2014from improving customer satisfaction to leading global teams in operational excellence and customer experience design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Her Motivation<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>As a Black British Caribbean woman, introvert, and immigrant, Beverly has experienced first-hand what it means to navigate\u2014and succeed\u2014in spaces where few looked like her. Having moved to the UK 20 years ago, she knows firsthand what it means to start over and work hard to get a foot in the door. Throughout her journey in the corporate world, she became a mentor and fierce champion for women, especially women of colour and professionals who find themselves on the margins. She launched industry-wide networks and shaped supportive communities, paving the way for those who follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Her Pivot and Stories by Career Sistas (podcast)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025, Beverly left corporate life to found Career Sistas, a platform focused on empowering and amplifying the voices and stories of diverse women in their careers. Through Career Sistas and the \u201cStories by Career Sistas\u201d podcast, she provides a space for honest conversations about career pivots, navigating setbacks, building networks, and finding community. Her work is dedicated to those who have ever felt different or like outsiders\u2014helping them thrive in their careers on their own terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Entrepreneur \u2013 Career Sistas Limited<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>As an entrepreneur, Beverly is determined to leverage her two decades of leadership and business expertise to grow Career Sistas into a thriving enterprise. Building on her own journey, she is launching the company with her debut book and has a vision for Career Sistas to become a home for empowering non-fiction works that amplify the voices of diverse women. Beverly also plans to expand the platform through dynamic workshops, professional development programs, and thought-provoking speaking opportunities\u2014creating a powerful ecosystem where women can access the inspiration, knowledge, and community needed to shape their own careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Author &#8211; Her Debut Book, Build Your Table<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Beverly\u2019s highly anticipated debut book, Build Your Table, publishes later this year. Part memoir, part strategic guide, it shares the unspoken truths and practical insights learned from her own journey and those of many others.
